Children of Arcane

so today i woke up late again. like 1250. had a bath and went straight for prayers. and after that went for lunch at near bedok interchange there. while walking back Courts had this outdoor campaign thing and they had some music on. they played this crazy frog song and this chinese lady at her 40s was dancing to it, not some performance but she was enjoying herself! haha, what a sight.

so i went back, relaxed for a while. bugged sam to tell me if shes going for the gig but she did not reply. annoying prat. she said she hasnt asked her mum. at that kinda timing of course she wouldnt be able to go. so i went off to aljunied to meet razi big and the gang. akiff came along too, the unlikeliest sight for the moment. we waited till like 540-545? for the others. it really was like jiwa telok kurau to be late. we headed to zai studios which was at tong lee building at kallang. it was on the tenth floor. it was a pretty cool place. and fakh pinched my nipple which is bloody painful. so we just slacked around. waiting for the gig to start. we even watched a bit of shrek 3 on azman's portable dvd player. yeah and we were all happy, doing crazy stuff. fakh carried me downwards on his back and we were near the lift. and suddenly like a whole group of people came out from both lifts. we were in between the lifts, bloody embarrassing.

so we had to register and all. we took pictures. we saw the owner of zai studios. some old lady named ZAI. oh the irony. but she was cool. we went in and there were a couple of acoustic performances that werent bad. then there was a band before arcane. they played some songs but they werent very good in my opinion. they played power rangers theme song and Hey Jude from the Beatles. i thought it was cool to get a cover from the Beatles but they spoiled the song in a way. didnt really like it. they even had the nerve to take a break when they delayed plenty of time.

so next was Arcane Sounds, been waiting for them to perform all this while. by then it was like 10? i told my mum it finished at 10. they performed and razzak was squirming and scratching his head, which meant he had alot of mistakes. hahaha. well it was all cool i enjoyed the performance. they had a couple of encores. played Girl On Queen Street by Plain Sunset. it was sad though cause all that were left by then we just our group of people to support them. those who left, missed a hell lot of fun for the whole day. what turned me off was the fact that everyone was just sitting down. wasnt cool la... but in all it was a great show. eventually we finished at 11. went home and my mum wasnt mad cause i msged her in advance. so it was cool.

now i have nothing to look forward to. just gonna be boring.
