my cousin asked me a pair of questions. so this was how the conversation went:

why do you believe in allah? and why do you choose islam

i chose islam because my parents are in it. what they teach me and what i learn revolves around islam. there is nothing negative i can think of islam as what they teach what they expect us to preach and spread are of pure goodwill and to be a well natured human.
i believe in Allah, because my religion and what i learn places Him to be a faith and a reason to live life as a muslim. i relate all good things to Him and all bad as tests given by him, bearing in mind that He will never give us challenges we cannot overcome. they can be overcome cause He will show us our way.
thus far i have Hes given me a balanced life because i believe in His existence

i know of muslims who turn to christianity
people think that in the islam context, he will go to hell for doing so
but Allah loves his creations and wont leave them to suffer what they thought was a brighter path. Allah is not naive and one dimensional.

Bombs, tanks, guns do not symbolise peace.

thats the point of the cause. they want u to be a positive goodnatured person who will fall at religion at times of need rather than placing blame.

my friend was approached by a christian lady who wanted him to join.
she said he was lost and on the wrong path. join christianity and you'll find your true meaning etc etc

she is not wrong to spread the word spread the love, but she is wrong to accuse and to enforce errors on other religion.
the thing is. you should keep your faith to yourself. when asked, u speak well of your religion, as no religion has its cons. its a personal decision to look into a religion. to remain faithful or to choose a path u feel is greater

their religion isnt the reason for them coming up to people like that. its their perspective, tho commonly shared by others, that does so. alhamdulillah, i've never seen a muslim man going around preaching wrongly.
but a few years back when i was in the car, at haig road i saw an old man on a bike who shouted to a group of people at the food area. "Jesus is God, Allah is the Satan!!!"

i was really angry. but it turned to pity when i thought about it. i refuse to blame his assumed christianity, they have no truth in their books that Allah is Satan. its just this questioning individually and misconception. we need to keep ourselves together. we need to keep our religion true.

i never thought i had such an opinion on religion. it truly came out at the tip of my tongue. i hope i have not offended anyone of my strong words, as i understand everyone has their say. there has been no intent of discrimination of any type of religion.i love my religion as it is and what it has brought in my life.
