hello blog. here's with the typical weekend update. at least there is something to talk about.
on friday, i went to CARAVENT'S gig. well technically its Summer's Over's album launch. but i came to see the doods of CARAVENT. they've got a new vocalist, whom i saw for the first time. their set was very good, enjoyed it alot. the vocalist seems comfortable, but i suppose more time is needed to fit in the picture. i really like their songs. make proper recordings (and send me!). i thought Summer's Over was too punk and didn't really favour it. but on a live show, i fell in love the music. definitely will listen to them more often now. shoulda bought their album (and take the free condoms and lubricant)! aiyah, one day lah.
met up with some old friends and made new ones. was a fun night. sorry for not moshing on your set! only me, Razi and Fakh had little fits of moshing while others merely stood and listen (so lame!). but at least you all got to mosh on SUMMER'S OVER. next time lah. all the best CARAVENT.
okay saturday, had dinner at the Carousel (forgot which hotel). cause it was my cousin's birthday and he treated us! like an awesome buffet. surprisingly, i attacked the buffet pretty well. i think the chef's were annoyed because i was returning to every single counter for MORE AND MORE food. so, while you get to visibly feast on some of the food, i got to.... eating...ly feast on the food! haha, enjoy (with your eyes only!)
the birthday cake. and the funny thing was, the birthday boy was allergic to chocolate! how sad is that! thats worse than my allergy. the staff came out singing a birthday song with the tune of 'i love you, baby'. so sweet!
that's like the first time i ate duck! okay la, not so bad. prefer chicken (duh)
BABY OCTOPUS SUSHI IS THE SHIZZ YO.
MORE SUSHI!
CHEESE NIGGA, CHEESE! ftw...
the desserts (is it desert or dessert?)
after the dinner us youngsters (5 girl cousins and me the only HERO or JOHN as my aunt would say it), went to Arab St for Shisha at El-Sheikh. i felt so scared when zeehan drove, drive exactly like the father i tell you, like drunk like that. but its so cool to drive. so on *th ***** 2009, i'm gonna register for my driving license! woohoo! anyways, we played Charades (lame right). initially my sis initiated 'Taboo'. and why she said that was cause she couldn't pronounce Charades, that which she pronounced "Chered" haha! and then my cousin said Tebu instead of Taboo. whats with these people, shisha make them like this la. my team lost la. lousy people.
finally sunday, went to wedding. and met Naren! talked and stuff. was cool la. remember, send me the proper recordings ah! and his mum said i got NICE EYELASHES. *hint hint*
some videos of me and my friends in school. sorry for the ridiculous laughters of mine at the back. the first one is at the field outside school. we decided to walk through the field instead of around it. and the second one is this crazy dance Jerome introduced to us. lucky i'm not in it! my crappy friends crack me up haha. these are lame and funny (but no impressions on the people of ITE.) maybe people of the north side la hahaha!
