MUSIC FLAVOUR: ANTIFLAG- FUCK POLICE BRUTALITY
it amuses me how people conversate on the Olympics, a sport competition of variated events. no other great sporting event is of equal buzz to the olympics. about two weeks ago, i came to school and all my friends were talking about the olympics; pingpong, soccer, basketball, swimming, track events, blah blah blah. i merely sat and listened and nodded to every sentence of amazement and insult my friends had to offer. even my brother talks about it. and he's fat. okay he's a good swimmer; chubby version of Micheal Phelps. speaking of whom; if you ask a girl, just any girl, they'd be interested in swimming. or micheal phelps who is 'abs-alicious' to be exact. pffft.
so who do you think is a standout athelete in the current tournament?of the many options there is of course, Micheal Phelps. there's Usain Bolt, Tyson Gay and Asafa Powell. or is it those Eastern European Country people from Blahslovakia and Weirdostan with weird names to equal their weird country's name? i discovered more countries in Olympics than Geography class in Sec1-2.
lets talk about Micheal Phelps. one huge muthafucka at 1.9+m. newscasting his eating habits is very very interesting. the amount tabulated like 6 omeletes, 12 thousand pancakes and 100 litres of energy drink per day just confuses you. not a single source of news would even that amount. and my friend is inspired to eat eggs everyday in school. on tuesday he had 2 eggs, yesterday 3 (TIGA?! JEROME HAHAHA) and this morning had one as a light snack. it is a whole lot of cholesterol/a deathwish and unless you're an olympian swimmer like big Mike, you shouldn't eat so much unless you have the same philosophy of that particular friend: 'i'm gonna die anyway'. 8 gold medals, 12 in total and 7 broken records. broken by the setter and the breaker himself. he is a phenom now, most certainly. but it has come to me that some day in the probable and hopeful future, these records will be broken. you may see some kid in the billion population of China and just think of him as world-beater in the distant future.was he a prodigy in his youth? from what i've come to conclude, prodigies don't succeed. and as far as i am concerned he was only renowned from the current or previous olympics. nonetheless he has impressed me as well as many apart from his pecs. good on ye', Phelps.
of the three contenders, assuredly Usain Bolt is on the centre stage (literally) for being the ace of all if not most track events. a phenomenal 9.69 secs (oh nice number ;) ) for the 100m and 19.30 secs for 200m. i do not know the other results for other events, but they'd probably around there too. i saw a picture of the 100m race and you can fit in a pregnant lady between the margin of Bolt and the other sprinters. that is how good he is. he is the world's fastest man now. imagine the multitude of effort put in to attain that title. i am familiar with sprinting and it honestly is a tremendous feeling. all you trained for, every sweat dripped, every ankle twisted, every turn you take, every muscle strained sums up in a time you achieve in your run. either you run your ass of and tell yourself it was worth it or throw it all away. setting your feet on the track, lining up for your race, getting into positition, wait for the 'bang', throwing yourself forward, closing your eyes and try not to care how you look while you run, to breathe or not to breathe?, stretching forward and reaching the finishing line. every single moment presses you down like a great heat. don't let me begin with the mental aspect. its killable. Usain Bolt did it in 9.69 seconds. God Bless you man.
congrats to other winners and attempts in the olympics. from the weightlifters to the whatevers. i don't know all of the damned events okay. to be in this feat is a sensational experience for all of you so cheers to that. you are all world-beaters even to be in the Bird-Nest thing whatever.
life is kinda like the olympics. you train hard, you get yourself checked, you get hurt sometimes, you win, you lose. its all up to you, how badly you want it. the glory is yours for the taking.
