im feeling better. thank you. my 2nd sister gave me some stuff from her work place. a very expensive face wash which i hope will work and a deodorant which is really good. while my first sister gave me a perfume she stole from the airport -.- thank you. i've had one test so far and it was do-able. we'll see how the next few goes. i will lay out the pros and cons of moving to Pasir Ris which is due the end of this month.

Pros:
  1. a new environment. honestly i'm tired of this geylang atmosphere. i do enjoy it in some ways. but i do not appreciate the cold shoulders i get from the neighbours. oh there're plenty of yellow smiles from the prostitutes, but i've had enough of that. i do hope that the neighbours at my new place will be friendly and nice. plus, Pasir Ris Park is just a back-door away.
  2. i get MY OWN ROOM. you have no idea what it means to me. living in the same room as my brother is hell. he is a nice boy, but an untidy kid. and his untidiness spreads to my area and i dont like that. im kinda like a junior Adrian Monk. so i will enjoy my own privacy.
  3. there is DowntownEast, Ehub, PasirRisPark and whatever else nearby. i think Geylang is a pretty secluded area, though it is pretty accessible when you come to know of it. i hope my friends would want to hang out there more now that i'll be moving. i dont think we hang out much at the far east. it'll be a new place. but of course we'll stick to the usual places.

Cons:

  1. it is FREEKEN far from school. i have no idea what time i have to get up. how long will the journey be? plus. i have to walk to the bus stop. that will take about 10 minutes. wait for the bus probably about 5-10 minutes. take the bus to the interchange 5 minutes. train journey? i wouldn't want to imagine. horrible.
  2. i'll have to do my part in keeping the place clean. that means my level's toilet. my mum said 'Omar and Alah be incharge to clean your level.' she could've just said it'd be just me. i dont think we'll be getting the maid to travel there all the way from bedok. she'd die by the time she reaches. picking up laundry would suck too. sigh.
  3. the shops are pretty far from my place. like i said the walk to the bus stop would take about 10 minutes. and that's the closest thing around. my place is rather ulu. the closest sign of civilisation would probably be downtowneast. and that's a long long long way out. i might have to get a bike when i need to fetch the girls from the bus. thats gonna suck. they come back very very late all the time.
  4. as my house moves further, my curfew which is 11, would still remain. this means i have to leave my friends earlier when im out with them. the journey would probably take most of the time i'm out. that is seriously gonna suck. i feel it is the greater factor among all.
  5. mosques are hard to find. it'll be difficult. and if i need to go my usual visits on thurdays, it'll be more difficult.
  6. i now regret not making the best of the facilities here. swimming pool, tennis court and stuff like that. its just hard to live and enjoy these stuff without friendly neighbours. plus my parents dont really like friends over. it is difficult overall. i cant enjoy it with my brother as much as i used to. i hope i can take the chance again before i move.

that is pretty much the main factors about the move. clearly the cons have a greater impact. but i'll learn to adjust. its 19 days before the move. im gonna miss this junk. whether the move is good or bad, you decide.
