eh, who's blog is this? so long never update!

okay lets talk about work first. i worked at Tanah Merah Country Club for the HSBC Golf Women's Open. it was a pretty fun experience. i wake up 4 in the morning for a whole week to report to work at 5. it is bloody tiring, i even sleep or doze off in work. but eventually i got used to it. i went to work with afan, so we took a cab together. we took alternate days to pay the cab fare which is refundable. except for only one day where i missed the receipt and hence not be able to get the money back. boohoo.

first i was a waterboy. in golf there are holes and on each holes we had to fill the tubs there with water. there was mineral water and two types of gatorade, the white and orange. it was pretty tough, having to carry the cartons, my body was easily sore. but i managed throughout. but i was working as a waterboy only for 3 days. i got moved to a 'higher rank' as head-assistant on the volunteer tent. i had to take care of the catered food and do waiter stuff, which i have no experience in. i spilled plenty of drinks on myself hahaha, especially coffee. eventually i got the hang of it. there were many nice people i met there, muhamad (he calls everyone bob, so we call him bob), sara and vinod (two heads of the water rounds, malaysians and wicked control of the malay vulgarities like 'butoh' and 'pukimak dia'), hisham and khairil (probation guys who are in trouble plenty, wish them well), finn (love his tattoos and hes a dick, but a good friend) ali, farid and cleave who stuck with me till the last day at the volunteer tent. others were omar senior, iris and helmi/bryan/louis/bapok/bogey. (hes gay, hes got this poster of 2 nude guys at the office)

it was a pretty cool job. the pay is decent i'd say. a standard 50 bucks per day and $5 per every hour on the OT. pretty much most days were on OT. so more money for me! it looked to a total of 400 odd? i gave a quarter to my mum, another quarter to the bank of drought, spent some on treating people and a little sum on myself. it was mostly on shirts as i had no other idea on what to get. i chose to get more colorful shirts so i got pink, yellow and brown shirts.

on that day i went out with rifhan after the long time since we met. i also drew a picture for a customized shirt. it costs about 30 bucks, but i didnt really like the shirt they gave. probably it'll turn out as a waste cause i didnt think my drawing was so great either. besides it was pretty rushed and not 100% effort on it. i will post it up when i get the chance, its with rifhan now. then we went to shisha. it was very cheap, 10 bucks! at Alaa El Din. it was my first time and i did it like a pro ^^. we chatted and talk. what was refreshing for me was that we talked about soccer. i'd love any girl to have that interest. haha.

i was working on my birthday, but after that i went out with my family. to treat them to swensens. after that we went out and window shopped. my 1st sister amirah got me a small red crumpler bag. want me to become mat rep haha. after that i took off to spend some time alone at the esplanade, accompanied with CCC from starbucks. there was a gig after that. some guys like the razis, azman, razzak, uzair and naren were there. i was so lucky to escape a bashing for my birthday. then aqilah was there and followed by zai. i also saw fatimah and her gang. i witnessed another type of music, SKA. it was pretty nice with all the trunpets and other horns. the band was cesspit, something new for a change. but after that was the highlight of my day. Plain Sunset! man, they were good. very energetic, got the whole crowd singing. they had some old songs played too. i truly enjoyed my time. singing and dancing along, seriously tak tau malu ahaha. it was cool to have a gig on my birthday. obviously it wasnt for me, but it was a nice anonymous gift.

life's pretty good nowadays. what is wrong can be worked out. everything is fine. all is good.
