there are times when i think of where i am in a person's life. those times are when i feel lost, when i feel i have wronged and when i feel hard done by.

some of my strengths play close to my weakness. when i try to be comfort, i end up being the greater pain. and i know i have no intention to hurt; i know i can do it better when i mean it.

i fear losing myself to someone i know i won't love and neither will the people who love me.

i have to ease up on eating habits. too much junk food in a week; you'd be scared at the amount.
seriously have to stick to certain food and drinks. treat myself sparingly.

i need to be more responsible. Keyboard practice everyday from now on. no slacking. slowly pick up on camera. read in spare time. soccer when the time comes. less sleeping, less junkfood.

in recent days, i have been thinking about football managers being sent off during a match.
to begin, i just think its ridiculous managers can be sent off.
but since there is such a rule and a right for referees to execute, i'll go with my point.
i think managers are afraid to send off Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson.
either that or they're dumb old fools.

i would highlight my notion following the team's 2-2 draw against Sunderland.
(Sunderland awesome; very unfortunate, Berbatov awesome goal, Foster: Shite).
in the second half, you could see the Scot barking at the fourth official and pointing at the pitch (Presumably to the referee, Alan Wiley).
he then took a shot at the referee aforementioned, claiming mr Wiley is not physically fit (as a butcher's dog) to conduct the game, took too long to make a booking (longest was 19 seconds for Sunderland's Phil Bardsley) and did not give enough time in the match (match ended at (94 mins and 2 secs).

in the defense of the match official, he was placed at fairly reasonable locations as to where the action was throughout the match. he jogged and halted according to the flow of the game. while booking, referees need to talk to the offender and at the same time take a breather. he is multi-tasking. giving himself and the players a short catch of breath as well as trying to remind players to keep the game clean. if players can rest during goal celebrations, injuries etc, why not the Man in Black (Yellow/Blue for this season)? and finally, he did give enough time for the full match to end. a full 90 minutes plus the extra time given.
Mr Alan Wiley would have conducted the same good job for any other match.

So why was Fergie going all red-faced on the match officials, and following the match, a rant on the poor gaffer?

and why did the officials report to the main referee that the manager was running his mouth a tad too much?

Arsene Wenger, Arsenal's manager, was sent off in the dying minutes of their clash with the Red Devils. why? for kicking a bottle, when Robin van Persie's last minute effort for an equalizer was ruled offside by the linesman. the bottle had not harmed anyone, nor did it explode like a C-4 Plastic Explosive. it cannot be taken as a sign of aggression. it is only, at the very least, mere frustration. he was very cute throughout the process, standing in the middle of nowhere until he was escorted out. there was an apology of some sort thenafter, but its a mark forever to tarnish the good name of referees.

Sammy Lee of Liverpool too was sent off for an unseen "offence". the assistant coach could do nothing but abide the command.

while they could shoo managers off with a mere lift of their finger, they daren't even look at the great manager of Man Utd; probably fearing the Hairdryer Treatment that made him very famous. do they fear his success? he is successful alright, but does that play an impact in the hearts of officials? i'm sure Fergie has been sent off at some point of his managing career but the need to do what was needed calls for begging on this occasion? he is a brilliant manager, but he gets in the minds of referees in his drive to win. such negative external intervention should not be allowed to dictate the game.

referees award fouls and cards for players taking off their shirts and misinterpreted decisions following a tough-ballwinning challenge, but they choose to keep their whistles and cards when players dive and managers spit on officials as they show their rage. i cannot say referees are biased, but they certainly make mistakes, far too many for the calling of a referees. they are merely human, but need to make right and proper decisions. video-assisting perhaps? aside all that, referees need to step up.

so who is at fault: referee or manager?

all i can say is, both need to know where they stand.

it felt good to be part of an international event, albeit a small part.
new friends made that too made the process enjoyable.
but me being me, i had to take a very long time for my legs to heal from the aching.
did not get good sleep too.
i did get a shirt, a luggage tag for my dad and ear plugs for my bro.
and some carrier bags for certain people ;)

there is a glitch in blogger that pops up every now and then. it prohibits me from putting up pictures, videos etc; which puts me off to blog about anything.

now i have the chance to blog, when the bug is unapparent.

but i have nothing in my head to write. it very much speaks about the days i've had so far.

so, i wasted an afternoon at ITE Simei (nothing against the college), a talk where the main speaker wasn't around.

resultant to that was just spending 1 hour there.

i thought it was compulsory. anyway, unlike all boring and redundant talks, i did pick useful knowledge; albeit of no relation to the F1 event:

that is the very complex defining process of a simple mode to express affection.

i also learnt recently that kissing started way back in the stone age. it was believed that kissing was actually a method for cave-mummys to feed their cave-babies. cave-mummys stuff food into their mouth and chew it for the toothless cave-babies to swallow easily. then comes the mouth-to-mouth transferral feedway. this is an entirely different idea from what people kiss for (affection, goodbye, respect, sexual desire etc), but the idea definitely originated from this. cave-mummys used their hands for other purposes like scratching hairy armpits.

NS Medical Check up:
the date due to register for checkup is close. need to book soon.
i do NOT want to go to NS straight after ITE.
i hope to settle with a diploma first before serving.
i have come across too many situations from different people that have difficulties returning to Poly after NS.

i still have not taken my BTT. :S
i was sick on the day of my first BTT so i couldn't take the test.
now, i have no time to retake it AND my mum wants me to pay for myself. tskk.

its more than just personal benefit. i would like to take that responsibility.

basically i need my own income. as i suck badly in saving.

i've gone 2 weeks missing from the cyberworld because my connection got cut! haha.
not that i don't have anything to say, just that the 2 weeks went by pretty well and i dont remember well of it.

i went to the Liverpool Match! was so awesome. great atmosphere, great game, got to see some of my favourite players in the flesh. i was hoping for more than 5-0, but it was pretty good considering it wasn't really a competitive match. loving the away jersey. all the best next season, Reds!

had the class outing yesterday. it wasn't bad. pretty fun. got to bond with more classmates. haha turns out most are or more mad like me. i'm not emo okay, i'm just quiet!

house-hunting has been hard. we came close on 4 occassions but we were left disappointed. its difficult even when we grab at the chances as quickly as possible with agents' personal greed and sellers' "complications". but i've got to stick by my mum because she's doing plenty of work when my dad is not around. it ain't easy, but we're sure to make it through. we've got till next year's August (:

i'm supposed to study for costing but im not. skrewed.

I'M BACK! ( 4 days ago)

ever-lazy lazy vibes gets on me, you gotta feel me. took some days to rest and chill (and soccer).

Batam was a blast! it truly was a learning trip in all aspects of it. there were pinnacle moments and situations that were truly lifechanging, some that will hit a nerve in everyone; nail the softspot; crack the core- you get what i mean.

i love the people whom i mixed with in the trip. so many different characters, i learnt plenty from everyone. there were some moments that really reached down and i'd cherish those times forever. we had some trouble along the way but im glad we settled it rationally. i hope the bonds we make will last long. there were external lessons with all of you that i learnt and they mean more than the blood and sweat of our physical labour. they have value of no boundaries and makes us feel human. love you guys.

i was to help in an orphanage called Bina Ummah, where it epitomizes the situation of a third world country. so basically we spent our 2 weeks there cementing some floors, which was a rigorous process though enjoyable eventually as the satisfaction can be seen through our job-well-done. we also painted the interior+exterior of the mosque, which looks more calm and warming. we carpented some cupboards for the library and finally laminated its flooring. this is the work of RAJAH & BROS. GOOD JOB GUYS. we did meet our target schedules, but i only wished we could give more. i was not satisfied having to leave the place where many areas can be tended to. the orphans deserve better. lets hope what we did will be of use and benefit to them.

we bonded well with the kids there. CUTE KIDS (should know how i love kids). made friends like rizal, satria, faris, karim, shafiq-Gattuso, zaki, geng Sakit Kepalo and the elder ones. through soccer (which they are bloody good in) and music (likewise). no favourites really, i seem to click well with the kids. it takes alot in me when i see in their eyes and try to imagine what they've seen.

then there is Umi. she is a teacher in the orphanage who we were under. she is 77 years old and she pulls the strings around there for us. everyone is amazed by her faith in God, strength and will to be where she is. she can be a true inspiration to the people who've known her. there are not many people that come by who are like her. its sad to see her cry anytime. shes mighty thankful for the little work we put in. but in truth her offers of blessings and prayers are much vast in appreciation to us. emo aside, shes pretty cute cause she doesn't speak english well except for 'yes/no?' 'thankyou' and a single 'don't mention it'. she's one of the strong pillars this trip is so knowledgeable. May God watch over her.

at the last day at the orphanage, we had a series of performances collaborated between us and the orphans. we had a blast. had lunch together, followed by some various acts for entertainment. the people there were great and are loaded with talent, especially ZAKI THE DRUMMER MAUT. us guys (me haziq and fai) also got the chance to perform. we did a rather impromptu "Always Be My Baby" and "Belaian Jiwa" . which was pretty decent (tho nowhere as good as their perfomances). but it turned out to be popular demand and we had to go up on stage again. since we used Radiohead's Creep as soundcheck, we decided to play it. and this time it was justifiably good. stupid thing was that someone ( the singer) 'dedicated' it to Umi. look into the chorus of the lyrics. aiyoh. bad call.

it was hard to leave them on the last day. the bonds and connection we had were hard to let go. many got emotional, but we had to accept realities and this was one of them. i never intended to put up a brave face, but i didn't cry (YA LA, HEARTLESS). it would've made me feel better if i did, but i was definitely sad. i just hope they'll stay in memory. that they will be memories that remind us of many valuable things before we make our steps in the future. these are the people and times that mould us to better humans; this lifechanging experience. its a matter of how long this memory will last to serve. i can only pray it will be forever.

we got some time for R&R and i got to catch Transformer 2: Revenge of The Fallen. ACTION WAS KICKASS. OPTIMUS PRIME KEWLER THAN MY DAD MANZZZ.

but the movie had a typical storyline and was very high tempo. they had space to cool down but they snapped up to accelerate the next 30 seconds. humour was fine, but coulda done better.

HELL-O

emphasize the HELL in the hello. thats how its been rolling these days. so far, i have overcame about85%. the others being the excess of the school days, pre-batam packing and video editing for our Business Law project.

speaking of which, im glad to say ALL THE ACTING IS OVER THANK GOD. all in one God-Blessed day which is today, Thursday. we went to the Old Supreme Court and Pasir Ris Park to act out. had to wear coat and smart cause im the LAWYER, THE MILLIONAIRE THE EVERYTHING. its not the best, due to our rather tight schedule and restrictions, but i can say im proud of the work we've done in a day. hope we get that A we're working for! thanks hommies for your co-operation and help. was so beat after that, i showered while sitting down!

plenty are taking part in the upcoming F1 event in singapore. we are employed by Singapore GP and we have various logistical duties. while others are already assigned their roles, my class have no idea what to do. nice. it was said the pay would be 100++ to 300++ for the 3 day event. the latter is an exciting prospect of earning for a short event.

cant wait for Batam! gonna enjoy as much as i learn there. im too excited about funny interactions with them kids (singing, dancing, ugh), but i'll try my best. will be meeting with my room mates to plan our purchases and pre-packing stuff.

Tan said: there will be 3 clubs. one in the hotel we're staying, 2 on either side of the hotel. nearby is a police station and a buddhist temple(damn unnecessary, bo?).

so we go to all 3 clubs, get chased by police, and we hide in the temple! how? :D

been lazy to blog. no pictures of events to put up, no stories with juice to put up nor do i have a topic in mind to talk about. or maybe its just that im lazy. yeah, did mention im lazy.. school has been normal. got a decent bunch of noisy rowdy irritating guys who get me involved in the shizz they do aha. but its cool, fun blokes. of course there'll be time to get to know the others. i'm not doing so fly with studies, to be honest. lots to catch up as exams are in mere weeks. i need a good GPA to go poly and hope i can take Banking and Finance like a friend of mine (or maybe something along the lines). i signed up for this Batam trip in school, unsure why i signed up really. i went for the interview but i dont think i have a chance really. í have been missing out on community work since secondary school and this would probably be a good and satisfying start( if i get through, that is). missing my friends, its been so long since i've met them. missing all the fun and laughter with such people i've grown to love. however i've been hanging out with cousins so it ain't dull. going out, watching lots of movies, playing soccer and in all; wasting a hell lot of money. also, i've been listening to old material (like maybe 2005-2006 season) from Usher, Alicia Keys, Franz Ferdinand, Black Eyed Peas etc. the good stuff right there. okay there you go a post, happy? malas sekaaaaaalllllllllllliiiiiiii........

when went to watch Jon Chan at the Mosaic Festival. i'm glad everyone liked it :)

they wanted to take this picture and so we did. instantly after we snapped, mosaic crew with a camera and microphone rushed towards them and asked them to say something about Mosaic. trapped haha! and so they did. on the very spot they were standing. BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE- WAKING THE DEMON

firstly, a big thank you to the people

(Bubu, Afdhal, Haider, Lutfi, Rifhan, Zeehan, anyone else i missed out)

who got me the Ipod. its really nice.

i find iTunes to be a big hassle, but i'll try to manage.

also thank you to Ashran and Nazher for the Nike shoes, they're awesome.

and finally to my Dad for the cool Levi's watch.

on thursday i made use of the shoes to have 2 rounds around Pasir Ris st4.

my fitness is shite. long gone were the days where i could run around like a headless chicken.

but it felt good. hope to do more in the next four weeks.

on friday, i watched the Mosaic Music Festival at the Esplanade with Haider.

it was the HipHop Day.

i think they have different types of sets for every other day.

though there was a soul singer in between the hiphop acts. they were all good.

there was also a certain Mark Bonafide on stage, probably well known to many.
he is pretty good. what i hear from his songs are sincere and heartfelt, not the bling and booty of

there were other acts that were good too. do go down to the Esplanade for this music festival as it is free (times of recession has its benefits ;) )
it starts around 7, so be there early for seats.

met Haider's friends at City Hall and went back together. on the train was when he gave me the iPod. the stupid thing was that he told me to keep it inside my bag first -.-
i hate being caught off with surprises. so bad at predicting them...
had dinner at Mr TehTarik. 2 prata Kosong and one Chicken Cutlet.
my voracious appetite.
crashed at Haider's place.

on saturday, we went to MacRitchie Reservoir for the TreeTop Trail.
made new friends who called me Little Boy as they were all 24 like Haider.
the Hike was awesome. lots of fun and laughter. good company.

there were monkeys raping each other, terrapins and shiny skinks and other animals.

it was prompt to wear white to be able to see the colours.
we went rubbing each other's faces with the powder.

i am definitely done with my exams. the drive to study is still weirdly pressing on, though. i cannot say its the best effort i have put in, nor does it matter. it was said that this term was meant to be tough. i dont think i can reach my expected/desired targets, seeming the circumstances. i hope its enough.

i cannot get a job as recession does have an obvious impact, much to my very late realisation. every single idea of a working outlet is cutting cost. attempts to find a job would be futile or useless even if i get work and have only 4hours per day. not worth it no? i cant even work at my uncle's place. no money... boohoo.

hence, i shall try to fill my 4 week holiday with some activities

a list of things i can/shall/may/will/must do:

1. read the books i got from my cousin. finish up Eldest first. (yess its taking too long for me to finish)

2. go jogging. (2 rounds around pasir ris st4. a lot for me okay)

3. go gym (an hour would suffice?)

4. hang out with family/friends. (so many people. dunnno if they're free. where to start?)

5. keyboards?

6. not waste so much time in front of the com.

7. not blog too much about boring stuff.

10. get my driving lessons ASAP!

FALL OUT BOY- I DON'T CARE

i am at home, sick and free to blog.

it was weird how i caught the cold right after i went home from school. totally came outta nowhere. getting an MC is a hassle. now i'm gonna have to get my mum to write a letter for the howmany-th time already in my days in school. this is an honest sickness and i think i'm pushing certain teachers' trust for missing out? well i don't think i can concentrate in class nor will they like to see me soaking tissues or trumpetting throughout the lessons.

something big happened on the party last saturday. a speaker timbered down and landed on a table where people were eating. there were glasses with roses and candles as decorations and all was destroyed. it was strange, nontheless fortunate, how it completely missed everyone who were sitting there. candlewax and glass proved to be quite a troublesome mess. one or two did get hurt on the incident, but everyone was okay and enjoyed the whole party.

speaking of saturday, the upcoming one is my cousin's wedding. so yes, it is on Valentine's Day. and yes, my Valentine's date is the Bride.

ALL HAIL A VACANT AFFAIR.

wow, i cannot believe i have it. the album's pretty cool. its like a simple booklet. in it is the pages filled with lyrics, some pictures and THE CD. its an incredible album.

such wonder how you can relate the lyrics of some songs. it goes to show you are never alone. even if you are just with your MP3, you're not alone. strong lyrics. and i'm happy to hear the screamer's massive participation, unlike certain band's minute contribution. the instruments were pinpoint and crystal clear. and there is a certain unity in the vocalist and the screamer. one speaks out, while the other speaks from within. such beauty.

all in all, i give this album an 8/10. hardcore people, you should get this. support local music. peace.

of course, there has been a pause in the updates as i am waiting for some pictures from people like Shahidah and Adilah. PLEASE IF YOU READ THIS, MAIL ME THE PICTURES PLEASE.

i just went out to meet 2 little girls. i feel like i have nothing to blog. okay may a bit of stuff lah. but the best thing about this week is the song above. soooooo kick ass. protest the hero cool cool cool!

so on friday was the last day of school. which i didnt go.and was supposed to get the results for our accounts exam that Mrs Ho promised only till next term. baik. dont care, think i screwed it anyway. instead i went to work. started at 2. ended at 2. IN THE FRICKIN MORNING.
i blew my fuse i tell you. with my uncle telling me to edit very insignificant details of my accounts from the moment i stepped in till then end of the 12 hour saga. and screw that lazy as F accountant. i do 3/4 of your work in a stinking day when you have a whole year. go shit bricks as a job lah you.

anyways. i still have no idea what to write. oh yeah. i totally crapped my presentation. i cant believe i let my naive, impulsive instinct lead me to doing my presentation on wednesday instead of thursday when i was clearly unprepared. itchy mouth, itchy backside.

so i didn't do half of the things i felt i should have done. but amid all that. i received alot of treats as i was well participating in the other presentations. i got a lollipop, chocomints, sushi (craving sia now) and kinder bueno. thanks to the presenters and thanks to those who took part a bit in my presentation.

so one of my cousin's getting married next month. feels sooner than expected. and my other cousins are preparing this dance performance (hindustand beb, standard). which i feel is nice, but waaay too long because the song is...12-14 minutes? its like a couple of songs fused together and they will enter at different songs.i am not in it because i cannot dance. duh. so they really got it all hyped up, my lil bro wants to dance too. but with a younger cousin close to his age. their dance routine is really cute and feasible, but they have plenty to work on. and another cute lil girl cousin wants to dance too. its really cute but she can dance pretty well. must be in the genes. which i dont have.
